About The Position

The National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program at Leidos is seeking an individual with Project Scheduling, Project Controls, and Analytical experience to support the FAA as a Corporate Work Plan (CWP), Primavera, and Data Analytics expert. The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Central Service Area (CSA) Planning and Requirements Group (PRG). This position is based in FAA Engineering Offices throughout the United States and is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the NISC mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field. Years’ experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in scheduling projects using an industry-accepted tool such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with data analysis and reporting utilizing systems such as Tableau.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience developing resource-loaded project schedules.
  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Suites
  • Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills for presentations.
  • Ability to tactfully coordinate with a variety of stakeholders, peers and management levels.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous knowledge of the FAA’s Corporate Work Plan system and associated business platforms or similar project databases.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, maintain, and resource-load Primavera project schedules.
  • Monitor labor hours, budgeted labor units, resource assignments, and resource availability.
  • Conduct workload analysis to identify over- and under-utilized resources.
  • Support Corporate Work Plan activities, including RAM analysis and project team assignments.
  • Develop and analyze Tableau dashboards and reports to monitor project performance.
  • Produce Planned vs. Actual, labor charging, staffing, and schedule performance reports.
  • Identify unstaffed activities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support Project Implementation Managers (PIMs) with baseline and re-baseline schedule management.
  • Generate ad hoc reports using Primavera, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Maintain schedule data quality and integrity across active projects.
  • Apply project controls best practices across scheduling, cost, forecasting, earned value, risk, and critical path analysis.
  • Support Data Driven Decisions (3D) reporting initiatives.
  • Identify project risks, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop assessment reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Present findings and recommendations to project stakeholders.
  • Support ongoing Corporate Work Plan updates and organizational changes.
