About The Position
Resort Pool Attendants are responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe pool area. This includes ensuring all safety equipment is present and functional, testing and balancing pool chemicals, monitoring water temperature, cleaning the pool and surrounding areas, and enforcing pool rules. The role also involves maintaining pool bathrooms, furniture, and common areas, and may include gardening and other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet.
- Flexibility to work events during non-business hours.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Tests and balances pool chemicals, documenting as required by state and local regulations.
- Monitors and adjusts pool temperature as directed.
- Cleans and vacuums pool, cleans skimmer baskets, and backwashes pool filters.
- Skims pool with a skimmer as needed.
- Monitors individuals entering and leaving the pool area, ensuring capacity is not exceeded.
- Ensures pool bathrooms are clean, stocked with supplies, and free of standing water.
- Ensures all posted pool rules are being adhered to.
- Ensures safety equipment is present and in working order, checking the first aid kit daily.
- Sweeps pool deck and all surrounding areas daily.
- Straightens pool furniture regularly, ensuring it is clean and in working order.
- Cleans clubhouse and surrounding common areas as needed.
- Gardens and pulls weeds in common areas as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
