About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining painting projects both inside and outside the Resort. The role also involves maintaining the building's physical appearance and the working order of the club, including assisting with the functionality of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as general upkeep. A key aspect of the role is ensuring the security, cleanliness, preventative maintenance, and repair of all engineering department tools, equipment, and safety features, adhering to established procedures and budgets. The painter will also be responsible for keeping maintenance and engineering storerooms and work areas clean and orderly, storing all tools, equipment, and spare parts appropriately. Proper treatment and care of tools and equipment are essential, as is the timely and professional completion of delegated work orders. The position may require responding to after-hour calls and immediately reporting and addressing unsafe conditions. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be able to complete all types of work orders generated for engineering.
  • Must have a general understanding of building maintenance.
  • Ability to perform painting, maintenance, and general repair.
  • Must have knowledge and the ability to operate tools, hand tools, and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Must be flexible and able to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years in building maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain painting projects inside and outside the Resort.

  • Store all tools, equipment, and spare parts in proper locations.
  • Perform proper treatment and care of tools and equipment.
  • Complete delegated work orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Respond to after-hour calls as necessary.
  • Report and address unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
