About The Position

Little Palm Island is a unique luxury resort located on a private island, accessible only by private ferry. It features 30 luxury suites, a Balinese-style spa, and waterside dining. Following a multi-million-dollar renovation after Hurricane Irma, the resort offers an enhanced island escape experience while preserving its magical ambiance. The role of Island Resort Manager is for a seasoned hospitality leader with a passion for excellence and a taste for adventure, to manage operations on this exclusive private island resort catering to Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals. The manager will drive the vision for the property, inspire a high-performing team across various divisions (rooms, wellness, property operations, marine services), and forge meaningful connections with elite guests. This role requires operational expertise, an understanding of luxury service delivery, and a hands-on leadership style. The manager will have direct oversight of departments including Spa, Boutique, Concierge Services, and Guest Services.

Requirements

  • Proven background in luxury resort, island experience, or hospitality management.
  • Deep experience working with UHNW clients.
  • A calm, solution-driven mindset and hands-on leadership style.
  • A readiness to embrace the beauty and remoteness of island life.
  • Highly professional, welcoming personality.
  • Experience leading a team in a luxury setting, including all administrative responsibilities.
  • Ability to navigate the complexities of running a world-class resort situated on a four-acre island, three miles out to sea.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of a luxury resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and consistently high service standards.
  • Oversee department leaders and develop high-performing teams.
  • Drive financial performance.
  • Maintain a culture of personalized, anticipatory hospitality.
  • Partner with executive leadership to deliver seamless operations while upholding the property’s brand, quality, and luxury standards.
  • Direct oversight of Operations Departments such as Spa, Boutique, Concierge Services and Guest Services.
