The Resort Manager oversees the Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa, Kids Club (Banyan Buddies), Pool, Engineering, and Food & Beverage. The position objective is to plan and manage the operations of the Resort to achieve high levels of guest and member satisfaction through personalized service and prompt issue resolution, while meeting/exceeding financial goals. This role requires maintaining a high-level of positive and professional approach with associates and guests, establishing and maintaining revenue strategy and forecasting, and identifying ways to grow Resort revenue, Occupancy, RevPAR, and ADR. The manager must stay aware of competitor strategies, control labor and resort expenditures, and set performance goals for staff. Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, and motivating staff, performing administrative duties, critically reviewing reports, making judgments to maximize profits, supervising business plans and budgets, formulating reports, communicating with various stakeholders, meeting with clients, and physically touring the property to monitor conditions and quality of service. The manager will also oversee and respond to guest feedback, assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Managing Director, and ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and local laws.
