Looking for a friendly, team-oriented candidate to join our Housekeeping team at our Mountainview Resort in Jackman, Maine! This is a full-time, year-round position with a work schedule of 30-40 hours per week, requiring weekend availability. The role involves assisting in all aspects of the housekeeping department, including cleaning rooms or villas, house aide duties, and public space cleaning. The successful candidate will ensure room cleanliness meets inspection standards, manage room status updates, complete checklists, and handle required housekeeping paperwork. Responsibilities also include identifying room assignments, responding promptly to guest and departmental requests, entering guest rooms following proper procedures, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, and completing safety training. Adherence to company policies, professional appearance, maintaining confidentiality, and protecting company assets are essential. The role requires welcoming guests, anticipating needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking guests with appreciation. Effective communication, both verbal and written, and positive working relationships with colleagues are expected. The position also involves performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
