About The Position

The Goldminer's Daughter Lodge at the base of Alta Ski Area is hiring a Winter Seasonal Dining Room Host for the 2026–27 season, from mid-November through mid-April. You will earn $17.00/hour + tips, average 35–40 hours per week, and work in a lodge where every shift comes with a front-row view of a legendary mountain winter. Ski-in, Ski-out mountain access + pass! A strong Host sets the pace for a successful dinner service, so we are looking for someone with a friendly presence, sharp attention to detail, and the judgment to keep a busy dining room flowing smoothly.

Requirements

• Prior restaurant, host, or customer-service experience is preferred
• A warm, outgoing presence and clear communication skills
• Strong instincts with people, details, reservations, and fast-moving situations
• Reliability, sound judgment, and a willingness to jump in where needed
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Work weekends/holidays
• Maintain U.S. work authorization
