About The Position

The Multi-Functional Resort Associate is a cross-functional position that is responsible for two or more functions within various daily resort operations. This position ensures that all owners, guests and associates receive our Hospitality with Heart service. This role requires open availability to work all shifts and at two locations: Club Wyndham Inn at the Opera (333 Fulton St, San Francisco, CA 94102) and Suites at Fisherman's Wharf (2655 Hyde Street San Francisco, CA 94109).

Responsibilities

  • Performs at least two resort functions on a regular basis, which may include Housekeeping/Common Area and Laundry.
  • Cleans resort units including sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms.
  • Maintains and adheres to housekeeping detail standards, including cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies.
  • Makes beds and replenishes supplies such as kitchenware and toiletries.
  • Sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carries linens.
  • Inspects resort units to ensure they are clean, functional, and sanitized.
  • Reports status of assignments and communicates readiness of units to Guest Services using the property management system.
  • Records, delegates, and monitors Housekeeping and Maintenance activity using HotSOS or manual tracking.
  • Maintains resort interior by dusting and polishing furniture, counters, mirrors, fixtures; washing floors, windows, counters, walls, and woodwork; sweeping, scrubbing and mopping floors; cleaning and vacuuming carpets; re-supplying restrooms and locker rooms.
  • Removes trash and maintains interior appearance by picking up debris, emptying containers, transporting materials to disposal area, and recycling materials.
  • Observes precautions to protect hotel and guest property, and reports damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
  • Assists in preparing and stocking of housekeeping carts.
  • Folds laundry and stocks shelves.
  • Operates iron as per standard and ensures it is shut off at the end of the day.
  • Cleans dryer filter daily and maintains all equipment as trained.
  • Washes and dries all dirty linens, towels, rags, etc., as directed by management.
  • Understands the operation of washing machines and dryers.
  • Processes laundry, including loading, operating, and unloading washers and dryers; washing all soiled linens, towels, napkins, and tablecloths; and folding and ironing.
