About The Position

Ready to bring the fun to life? Villatel Orlando Resort is looking for an energetic, hands-on Resort Amenities Supervisor to help keep the good times rolling! In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the guest experience, providing on-the-floor leadership and overseeing daily operations across our resort amenity spaces—from the excitement of the waterpark to activities programming and guest engagement areas. You’ll lead from the front, coaching and motivating Amenity Team Members to deliver memorable guest experiences while ensuring operations remain safe, organized, and aligned with Villatel standards. From reinforcing training through the Villatel Experience Academy to monitoring inventory, safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness, you’ll help make sure every detail is dialed in. Collaboration is key. You’ll work closely with resort leadership, Dispatch, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other teams to create seamless service, support activities and special events, and turn everyday guest interactions into lasting memories. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, resort operations, waterpark operations, attractions, or guest services required.
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, motivate, and support team members in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with guests, team members, leadership, and cross-functional partners.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to remain composed and respond effectively to changing operational needs.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining strong attention to detail, safety, and service standards.
Ability to lead by example and maintain a visible, engaged presence throughout assigned shifts.
Flexibility to work a varied schedule based on resort operations, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

associate or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation, Tourism, or a related field preferred.
Previous supervisory, team lead, or leadership experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily floor operations across assigned amenity areas, including the waterpark, activities programming, and guest engagement spaces, ensuring a safe, clean, organized, and engaging environment.
Serve as a visible, hands-on leader during assigned shifts, providing real-time direction and support to Amenity Team Members while ensuring alignment with Villatel service and operational standards.
Assign team members to stations and responsibilities at the start of each shift based on staffing levels, guest volume, and operational priorities, adjusting assignments as business needs change.
Lead daily operational routines, including opening readiness checks, mid-day Deep Dives, and closing procedures, communicating operational status, concerns, and gaps to the Assistant Manager.
Reinforce Villatel Experience Academy hospitality standards through real-time coaching, feedback, and on-the-floor demonstrations.
Proactively engage with guests throughout the shift, creating memorable experiences and identifying opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction.
Respond to guest questions and concerns, resolving routine issues independently and escalating complex or high-impact matters to the Assistant Manager when appropriate.
Identify guest feedback trends and communicate relevant observations and opportunities to leadership.
Actively supervise waterpark and amenity operations to ensure consistent compliance with established safety standards, policies, and emergency procedures.
Maintain strong visual oversight of high-risk areas, ensuring team members remain alert, properly positioned, and compliant with required safety protocols.
Verify that safety equipment, signage, and operational procedures are properly in place and functioning throughout each shift, taking immediate action when concerns are identified.
Support new team member onboarding and shadow shifts while reinforcing Villatel Experience Academy training and department expectations.
Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback, conduct routine skill validations and spot-checks, and recognize opportunities for additional training or development.
Model professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and a strong hospitality culture during every shift.
Conduct scheduled inventory checks of towels, activity supplies, equipment, and guest-facing materials, coordinating replenishment needs with the Assistant Manager.
Identify and report inventory shortages, excessive usage, waste, damaged equipment, or other supply concerns.
Ensure equipment, supplies, and materials are properly maintained, stored, and presented according to operational and brand standards.
Execute scheduled activities, programming, and special events, ensuring each experience is organized, engaging, energetic, and consistent with the Villatel brand.
Lead activity sessions directly when needed and provide oversight and coaching to team members facilitating guest programming.
Conduct scheduled quality assurance walkthroughs of assigned amenity areas, documenting cleanliness, presentation, safety, and operational readiness using established audit procedures.
Partner with Housekeeping and Maintenance to identify facility needs, communicate service requests, and support timely resolution of operational concerns.
Ensure assigned amenity areas remain guest-ready throughout the shift, addressing cleanliness, presentation, safety, and operational concerns as they arise.
Maintain clear and timely communication with the Assistant Manager, Dispatch, and other resort partners regarding staffing, guest concerns, incidents, safety matters, and operational status.
Complete required documentation for incidents, coaching conversations, quality assurance findings, and other operational matters in accordance with established SOPs.
Execute opening and closing checklist procedures and confirm team readiness, operational setup, and completion of end-of-day responsibilities.
Ensure personal and team compliance with all company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and operational standards.
Take ownership of assigned daily focus areas, including training reinforcement, inventory management, programming execution, or operational readiness, while collaborating with fellow supervisors to support overall department success.
Lead every shift with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, ownership, and hospitality.
