About The Position

The Resolution Health Support Program (RHSP) Worker assists with the delivery of the RHSP in the Beaufort Delta Region, serving six Inuvialuit communities and Inuvialuit Beneficiaries and their families living outside the ISR. The Program assists former students and their families, who participated in the Indian Residential School Settlement Agreement processes, with access to specific healing and treatment services tailored to their needs in a timely and reliable manner. This role is based in our Inuvik office.

Requirements

  • Certificate or Diploma in a health and wellness field or have worked in the Wellness Field.
  • Three years of client-service experience, preferably in a cross-cultural setting in a field related to health or wellness.
  • Completion of a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
  • Completion of a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check.

  • Applicants who do not meet all qualifications are encouraged to apply and may be considered for appointment at a lower level with a development plan.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the delivery of the RHSP in the Beaufort Delta Region (six Inuvialuit communities of mixed ethnicity -- Aklavik, Inuvik, Paulatuk, Sachs Harbour, Tuktoyaktuk, and Ulukhaktok).
  • Assists Inuvialuit Beneficiaries and their families living outside the ISR.
  • Helps former students and their families, who participated in the Indian Residential School Settlement Agreement processes, access specific healing and treatment services that best meet their needs in a timely and reliable manner.
