The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is seeking a Resilience Care Navigator and Peer Support Specialist to join the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience. This role is crucial for providing services to survivors of psychological trauma using evidence-based practices and whole-person healing approaches. The target populations include active duty and retired veterans, first responders, family members, and trauma survivors experiencing symptoms related to combat stress, PTSD, mood disorders, or burnout. The Resilience Care Navigator (RCN) will lead the intake and care-planning process, conduct assessments, develop individualized service plans, and provide ongoing care navigation and coordination. Additionally, this position will support the Director of Healing and Community Programs by assisting in and conducting Peer Support Training, providing clinical support consulting to peer supporters, and offering training to the community on resilience, wellness, and mental health. The role also involves outreach to organizations for potential peer support contracts and workshops.
