We are seeking a full-time Residential Worker to join our Adult Behavioral Health team in Carlisle, PA. Schedule: 40 hours/week; 3rd shift, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM with rotating weekends. Earn $17.33/hour or $19.33/hour with the selection of Enhanced Pay. Position Details Residential Workers provide direct care and supportive services to individuals diagnosed with mental health conditions in a Community Residential Rehabilitation (CRR) setting. They support daily living activities, encourage recovery and stability, and actively participate in the treatment planning process in accordance with established plans to promote skill development and independence. This role also focuses on promoting a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment that fosters each individual’s mental and physical well-being.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must have an active and valid driver's license
- Experience in Human Services preferred
Responsibilities
- Help develop and implement activities and other special projects designed to strengthen independent and community living skills and socialization/leisure time.
- Build on strengths to promote positive growth for the consumer.
- Engage consumers in appropriate life skills to develop abilities to live as independently as possible.
- Accompany consumers on trips outside the facilities for treatment, medical appointments, or any other appropriate activities.
