In compliance with the Mission Statement of The Salvation Army Hamilton Booth Centre, to minister to those in need and other persons affected by homelessness by practical assistance through a demonstration of Christian love and concern. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Residential Worker will provide a service to residents/clients by ensuring their safety while interacting in a positive, supportive manner, make referrals to other day staff as appropriate and to protect the property of The Salvation Army Booth Centre. This is a permanent full-time position with 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility in scheduling is required. The work schedule is determined in consultation with your supervisor and may vary according to requirements of responsibility. Applicable shifts include a ½ hour paid meal break. Shifts: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday to Friday
