The Residential Worker B provides a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and visitors, delivering Emergency, Transitional and Supportive Housing program services for the ministry unit. This role acts as a positive role model for clients, monitors the environment and clients to ensure safety and security, and supervises clients, monitoring behavior for adherence to rules and policies. Responsibilities include conducting shift change procedures, maintaining documentation and shelter logs, assisting with conflict resolution, preparing and serving food, and performing household maintenance such as cleaning and laundry services.
