About The Position

The overnight hours may be quieter but they are just as important. For the children and teens in our care, feeling safe and supported doesn't stop at the end of the day. They need someone they can count on through the night. Someone who provides consistency. Someone who stays calm when a difficult night happens. Someone who makes sure they wake up to a safe, structured environment and are ready for a new day. As an Overnight Youth Services Worker with Four Oaks' Mason City PMIC program, you will provide overnight care and supervision for boys and girls ages 7–17 receiving residential behavioral health treatment. If you're dependable, calm under pressure, and looking for meaningful overnight work, this could be the opportunity for you. What is PMIC? Our Psychiatric Medical Institution for Children (PMIC) program provides residential treatment and support for children and teens who need a higher level of care. Our team provides a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment where youth can develop coping skills, build healthier behaviors, strengthen relationships, and work toward their individual treatment goals. As an Overnight Youth Services Worker, your primary focus is maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive environment throughout the night. Overnight staff are an important part of our treatment team. You're not simply watching a building overnight—you're helping maintain the stability, safety, and consistency our youth need to be successful. We also understand that different schedules work for different people, which is why we offer full-time, part-time eligible, and part-time overnight opportunities.
