About The Position

Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the Carolinas, Florida Tennessee and Kentucky. Thompson’s continuum of care encompasses three domains: prevention, mental health services and foster care. All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and evidence-based/evidence-informed with the intention of building resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both virtually and in person. Requirements

• Master's degree in human services related field required
• Associate or provisional license required
• A minimum of 1 years of relevant professional experience
• Availability to be flexible and work rotating weekends
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Provisional or fully licensed to practice therapy in North Carolina (depending on specific program).
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the program(s) you lead
• All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual and group therapy
• Completing Comprehensive Clinical Assessments
• Attending Child & Family Team meetings
• Developing and monitoring person-centered plans for youth in our residential facility
