About The Position

Child Saving Institute (CSI) is looking for an empathetic, passionate individual with a heart-filled desire to work closely with families as a Therapist in our Residential Services Department at our Pediatric Medical Institute for Children. This role is essential to our team, focusing on empowering children and families by promoting optimal mental and emotional health through evidence-based therapeutic interventions and trauma-informed care in a residential setting. The position is located at the Children Square Campus in Council Bluffs, IA.

Requirements

• Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP)
• Master's Degree or Higher
• Collaborative and eager to create therapeutic experiences that promote growth and healing.
• Observant of individual developmental stages and growth of children.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and boundaries at all times.
• 1 year minimum of experience in providing therapy to children and families (including internships).
• Eligible to participate in Medicaid and private insurance provider panels.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or Circle of Security.
• Experience with the child welfare system.
