About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader with strong supervisory skills who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As an Evening Supervisor, you will guide and support direct care staff, ensure quality services are delivered, and help create a safe, positive, and supportive home environment for the individuals we serve. As a Residential Team Leader, you will provide direct supervisory oversight to residential direct care staff during evening operations while ensuring high-quality care and support for individuals receiving services. This leadership role combines hands-on support, staff supervision, mentoring, scheduling coordination, and program oversight. The ideal candidate is a dependable supervisor with strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills who can motivate staff, problem-solve effectively, and maintain compliance with agency policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Strong supervisory experience
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams in a residential or human services setting

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in residential services, healthcare, human services, or developmental disabilities preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic record systems
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to provide professional supervisory support during evening and weekend operations

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervisory leadership and direction to residential direct support staff
  • Serve as the evening supervisor for assigned residential programs
  • Coordinate daily residential operations and ensure quality care delivery
  • Support, mentor, and train staff using team-based leadership practices
  • Assist with implementation of individualized program plans
  • Promote a positive, safe, and professional environment for individuals and staff
  • Communicate effectively with management, staff, families, and outside providers
  • Complete documentation and electronic records accurately and timely
  • Ensure compliance with agency standards, OPWDD regulations, and safety procedures
