Our Residential Support Staff provide support to clients attending our longer-term residential addiction treatment program in Guelph. Our approach to treatment is a group approach, based around peer support and mutual self-help. Our team contributes to our client's recovery journey by demonstrating positive and healthy behaviours (role modelling), engaging in supportive counselling, containment and crisis intervention, and participating alongside residents in community living activities (participating in mealtimes and outdoor recreation activities). This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in a career in social work or counselling to work in and learn about a unique model of treatment. Hours of Work: Our full time overnight staff are scheduled from 10pm to 8am, 4 days/wk on a two-week rotation. This rotation is inclusive of some weekend work (rotational weekend schedule). Current Opportunities: 1 position available.
