About The Position

Easterseals NH is seeking a Residential Support Counselor to join its Community Based Services team. The program supports individuals in residential homes. The counselor promotes independence, helps maintain a safe environment, and provides companionship to clients.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working in the Human Services field.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and medication administration.
• Support household tasks, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
• Accompany individuals to daily activities, appointments, and community events.
• Follow each individual's care plan.
• Complete required daily documentation.
• Undertake other duties as needed or assigned.
• Undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety.
