About The Position
As a Residential Specialist, you will have the opportunity to support individuals living with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges to develop the independent living skills and emotional regulation skills that are integral to accomplishing their identified treatment goals. Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges
- A valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation
- A positive attitude of compassion, respect, and ability to set appropriate boundaries.
Nice To Haves
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or another human services field
Responsibilities
- Support individuals living with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges to develop independent living skills.
- Support individuals living with mental health and/or substance abuse challenges to develop emotional regulation skills.
- Assist clients in accomplishing their identified treatment goals.
