About The Position
As a Residential Specialist, you’ll empower individuals with disabilities to live more independently and confidently in their homes. If you’re energized by helping others and want a role where you can see the difference you make every day, this is the job for you. This position is located in Lemon Grove.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Six (6) months experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Valid California Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
- A passion for making a difference!
Nice To Haves
- Are bilingual in English and Spanish
- Have experience using case management systems (Therap preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting
- Assist with daily activities like personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, getting dressed and undressed, mobility, and personal organization.
- Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
- Create a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment.
