About The Position

The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate people to join our staff supporting our Mission. This position plays a vital role in the care, security, and enhancement of the quality of life and well-being of the people we support.

Requirements

No experience or training required.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals, who are customers, with their purchases and the use of their money.
Assist the Developmentalist in the training of the individual who has a job placement at the Baker's Secret.
Assist the individual to acquire skills related to the Baker's Secret and other food services.
Assist and train individuals to complete time sheets and training sheets, making sure that they are accurate.
Work in the preparation, service, and sale of the food and beverages at the Baker's Secret, as directed by the RSS 5 / RSS 6.
Be professional by maintaining a welcoming and friendly attitude toward all customers, both individuals and staff.
Report any comments, concerns, or complaints immediately.
Conduct cleaning and maintaining of the Baker's Secret and its equipment daily, in a clean and orderly manner.
Work the cash register as needed and assist with properly stacking and storing food and beverage items as they come into the Baker's Secret.
On holidays and Saturdays, be a lead staff, when no supervisor or Developmentalist is present at the Baker's Secret, by opening and closing the Baker's Secret and ensuring that all food is prepared and stored properly.
Total and document all sales and money at the end of the shift, ensuring all money is secure and locked away at the end of the shift.
