This position is responsible for monitoring the activity of long-term residents participating in a residential rehabilitation or treatment program. The role ensures the safety, security, and compliance to house rules, maintains accurate and complete client and case records and logs, ensures the long-term housing facility is maintained in a neat and proper order, and verifies compliance with the treatment plan and teaching skills. Key Responsibilities include monitoring resident activities to ensure safety and compliance with house rules, checking the security of windows and doors, making periodic rounds of the facility, and recording unique situations occurring on the assigned shift. The position requires responding to emergencies calmly and initiating appropriate corrective actions according to established policies and procedures. Additionally, the role involves completing required paperwork for client intake and daily case notes, and inputting data into the computer to maintain client records. Assisting with verbal and physical aggressions from residents is also a part of the responsibilities.
