About The Position

At Father Joe's Villages, recovery is more than treatment- it is the foundation for stability, healing, and hope. Our licensed detoxification program provides 24/7 care for individuals taking their first steps toward recovery from substance use disorders. Every day, our team helps clients safely navigate withdrawal, build trust, access treatment, and move toward lasting change. As a Residential Service Coordinator II, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment. Working alongside medical, clinical, and behavioral health professionals, you will provide direct client support, monitor client well-being, respond to crises, reinforce treatment plans, and help individuals remain engaged in services during a pivotal stage of their recovery journey.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • RADT registration required within timelines established by state regulations
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, residential services, healthcare, social services, or a related field.
  • Experience with crisis intervention, client engagement, and recovery-oriented services.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience maintaining electronic client records.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Behavioral Health, Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
  • CADC, CATC, or other recognized alcohol and drug counseling certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, co-occurring mental health conditions, trauma, or complex psychosocial needs preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to serving vulnerable populations with compassion, respect, and a belief in every person's capacity for recovery and change.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients into the detox program by conducting intake, orientation, screening, and assessment activities while fostering a supportive and recovery-focused environment.
  • Monitor client well-being, withdrawal symptoms, and overall safety; conduct routine checks and communicate concerns to medical and clinical staff.
  • Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, emotional support, and recovery-focused coaching to promote client engagement and progress.
  • Support implementation of detoxification and treatment plans, including medication observation and documentation in accordance with program protocols.
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and trauma-informed residential environment by reinforcing program expectations and addressing behavioral concerns.
  • Collaborate with counselors, nurses, case managers, and community providers to coordinate services and support successful recovery outcomes.
  • Complete accurate documentation, client records, and incident reports in compliance with licensing, regulatory, and program requirements.
