We are seeking an experienced Service Technician for our property in Chicago's Printers Row neighborhood. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and has a strong background in maintenance and repair. This role requires effective problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community is required.
  • Experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems is required.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the safe and proper use of common tools, cleaning products, and supplies is required.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and assist at our other residential communities when needed.
  • Availability to respond to after-hours emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays, is required.
  • Must be able to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Walk the property daily to ensure cleanliness and address maintenance issues.
  • Perform janitorial duties as assigned and maintain common areas.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills.
  • Foster workplace harmony, promote a positive company image, and support a respectful team environment.
  • Any other tasks as directed by the Property Manager and Service Manager.
