About The Position

Breeze Heating & Air is hiring a full-time HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and air conditioning systems throughout the Coachella Valley. We are looking for a dependable, motivated HVAC professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and delivering excellent customer service. As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential HVAC systems. You’ll work independently in the field, interact with customers, and ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys hands-on HVAC repair work, problem-solving, and customer interaction.

Requirements

  • Experience in residential HVAC service and/or installation preferred
  • EPA Certification required
  • Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily schedule
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to perform physical HVAC field work (lifting, climbing, outdoor work)
  • 5+ years experience as an HVAC residential service technician.
  • Must have a valid driver license and clean driving history.
  • Able to pass a background and drug screening
  • Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must have good oral and written communications skills.
  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have basic computer skills and be able to utilize mobile device throughout the work day.

Nice To Haves

  • NATE certification or other HVAC industry credentials
  • Experience working in high-temperature desert climates
  • Additional HVAC training or technical schooling

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems (AC & heating units)
  • Perform routine HVAC maintenance and seasonal tune-ups
  • Troubleshoot system failures and recommend repair solutions
  • Install or replace HVAC components as needed
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs and options
  • Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and HVAC best practices
  • Provide high-quality customer service on every job
  • Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction.
