Residential Service Tech HVAC
About The Position
Hassler Heating and Air Conditioning is growing its Install and Service Department and is searching for a talented, dedicated, and knowledgeable HVAC Warranty and Commissioning Technician. This role involves advanced diagnostic abilities on new equipment, familiarity with proper installation codes and practices, and the ability to solve technical problems. The position offers year-round work with overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of installation experience.
- Minimum 5 years of service experience.
- Experience in diagnosing Tanked, Tankless and Heat Pump water heaters.
- NATE Core Certification & Acquire Specialty Certifications (Required within 1 Year of employment - Paid by company).
- Knowledge of installation codes.
- Knowledge of proper installation practices.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Clean driving record.
- Have the desire to grow, succeed and excel in your trade.
- Self-starter, able to follow directions, and practice good communication skills.
- 5+ years experience as an HVAC residential service technician.
- Must have a valid driver license and clean driving history.
- Able to pass a background and drug screening.
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Must have good oral and written communications skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics on new HVAC equipment.
- Ensure proper installation code and practices are followed.
- Solve technical problems related to HVAC systems.
- Train other service technicians or installers (a plus).
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Perform commissioning and startup of HVAC systems.
- Adhere to all company procedures and safety rules.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Utilize mobile devices for work throughout the day.
