Namaste Solar•Denver, PA
•$25 - $34•Onsite

About The Position

The Residential Service Project Coordinator keeps customer service work moving from intake through scheduling, execution, and follow-up. This customer-facing role coordinates priorities across customers, technicians, management, materials, revenue needs, and service urgency. A key responsibility is communicating basic technical and non-technical information clearly to customers and technicians, translating system information into practical next steps for each audience. The coordinator owns the workflow, applies practical project-management discipline, communicates clearly, and helps improve how Residential Service operates.

Requirements

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and comfortable managing several active projects at once.
  • A team player who can lead, make practical decisions, follow through, and take ownership of outcomes.
  • A strong communicator who can explain basic solar PV, system performance, service findings, and project next steps in clear customer-friendly language, while also providing technicians with accurate and useful project information.
  • Able to prioritize work using customer impact, urgency, revenue, resource availability, and technician wellbeing.
  • Previous solar experience and working knowledge of residential solar PV system design, components, operation, monitoring, and common service issues.
  • Comfort with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and learning new systems.

Nice To Haves

  • NABCEP certification is strongly preferred.
  • Additional relevant solar, electrical, design, or energy-storage certifications are valued.
  • Demonstrated interest in PV system design, system function, troubleshooting, and continued technical learning.
  • Project coordination or project-management experience is strongly valued.
  • Sales, estimating, or customer-conversion experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the Residential Service schedule, including roof-removal and reinstallation (De/Re) work, scheduling ready projects as they come in and adjusting quickly when priorities or field conditions change.
  • Manage service intake by reviewing requests, gathering needed customer and system information, identifying urgency, determining the appropriate next step, and actioning the project.
  • Manage service projects from intake through completion, making sure the scope is clear, the work is properly scheduled, materials are ready, and customers and technicians know what comes next.
  • Serve as a primary customer contact and communicate basic technical and non-technical information clearly to customers, technicians, and internal teams. Translate system issues, field findings, project requirements, and recommended next steps into language appropriate for each audience, while partnering with technicians and management when deeper technical or escalated support is needed.
  • Maintain organized, accurate work-order documentation and keep open items from falling through the cracks.
  • Coordinate with technicians before and after appointments, track field needs and recurring issues, and report meaningful trends to management.
  • Balance department revenue, customer satisfaction, urgency, technician workload, technician morale, and efficient use of field capacity when making scheduling and project decisions.
  • Identify bottlenecks, communication gaps, and unnecessary administrative work, then help design and implement practical process improvements.
  • Support sales-related work when helpful, including identifying service opportunities and completing follow-up sales calls after estimates are sent.
  • Build clear priorities, maintain visibility into active work, and communicate changes before they become problems.
  • Accurately identify the scope and expected duration of service projects so scheduling, staffing, materials, and customer expectations are aligned.
  • Own project follow-through by identifying next steps, dependencies, and responsible parties, and by escalating blockers when needed.
  • Make an initial recommendation on priorities and clear significant priority changes or tradeoffs with the Residential Service Manager.
