About The Position

Fountain Services is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Residential Service Manager. This role is critical to the success of our service operations, focusing on leadership, quality assurance, customer satisfaction, and business performance. As Residential Service Manager, you will report directly to the Service Division Manager. The Residential Service Manager will play a key role in building, developing, and leading residential service operations within a growing market. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving growth, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to residential customers. Above all, the Residential Service Manager is expected to fully embrace the Fountain company culture, instill it within the team, and foster an environment built on accountability, professionalism, and open communication. This individual must lead by example and uphold the highest standards of performance and integrity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the electrical service field (commercial/industrial service or maintenance)
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must reside within 30 miles of Spindale, NC

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and support a team of residential service electricians and helpers
  • Grow and develop residential service clientele and market presence
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, and pricing for residential service work
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members while promoting a strong safety culture
  • Manage materials, equipment, and tools for efficient service operations
  • Coordinate manpower, scheduling, and service calls
  • Ensure quality and consistency of work performed in customers’ homes
  • Conduct job-site visits and provide hands-on leadership when needed
  • Monitor performance, set goals, and drive accountability within the team
  • Oversee departmental productivity and profitability
  • Complete regular reporting as requested by company leadership
