About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential HVAC Service Manager to lead our service department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing technicians, ensuring high-quality customer service, and driving departmental profitability. The ideal candidate combines strong technical HVAC knowledge with leadership and organizational skills.

Requirements

5+ years of residential HVAC experience (service and troubleshooting)
2+ years in a supervisory or management role preferred
Strong knowledge of Service Titan software
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repair
EPA Certification required (NATE certification a plus)
Proven leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with service management software and dispatch systems
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily operations of the residential HVAC service department
Supervise, coach, and support HVAC service technicians and dispatch staff
Schedule and coordinate service calls to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
Monitor technician performance, productivity, and quality of work
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local codes
Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure timely resolution
Review and approve service estimates, invoices, and warranties
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue, margins, and call completion rates
Maintain inventory control and oversee parts ordering
Recruit, hire, and train new service team members
Collaborate with sales and installation teams to ensure seamless operations
Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability
