Residential Service Electrician
About The Position
If you're a licensed trade professional who believes in getting the job done right the first time, you could be the full-time Residential Service Electrician we need at F.F. Hitchcock Company! Our Cheshire, CT team is hiring a hands-on problem solver to complete exceptional electrical repairs, upgrades, and installations. This is a Level 2/3 role where you'll perform impressive hands-on work and potentially take on leadership duties in the future. Armed with a solution-driven mindset and a "can-do" attitude, you'll travel to assigned homes to evaluate customers' systems, troubleshoot problems, and complete the appropriate repairs, installations, or maintenance services. You'll professionally communicate with customers and complete first-rate panel changes, service upgrades, generator/EV charger installations, maintain HVAC and heat pump equipment, and more. Once you'll reach Level 3, you'll help lead the crew on larger jobs and assist with escalated calls.
Requirements
- Active Connecticut E-2 journeyman license
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to travel throughout central Connecticut and Greater New Haven County as assigned
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
- Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities
