About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer for a Residential Security Officer role. This position requires the ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly, emphasizing keen observation skills. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc. This is not a training position and requires prior high-end HOA experience.

Requirements

Must have a copy of a HS diploma or GED.
At least 1 year Security experience in an upscale HOA setting.
Must have a current PILB.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Proficiency in working with computers and other electronic systems.
Ability to work on holidays as scheduled.
Alertness, excellent attention to detail, and situational awareness.
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Strong work ethic.
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
Professionally answer all phone calls that come through the Site.
Observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
Provide rapid response in critical situations.
Read and write detailed reports, especially on rude guests or residents.
Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
Conduct regular area patrols by vehicle and foot.
Provide critical access control on behalf of community members and guests, by checking IDs, answering phones, using computers, and handling deliveries as needed.
