About The Position

GardaWorld is seeking professional and dependable Residential Security Guards to provide security services at exclusive high-profile private residences and executive properties throughout the Lower Mainland. This is a unique opportunity to work in a specialized security environment where professionalism, discretion, and strong observational skills are essential. You'll be responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring residential properties, and responding to incidents while helping ensure the safety and privacy of residents and authorized visitors. Requirements

• Valid BC Security Worker Licence
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Clean Driver's Abstract
• Minimum 10 years of residency in Canada
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance
• Basic First Aid certification or higher
• Advanced Security Training (AST) Certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong professionalism and customer service abilities
• Ability to remain calm, confident, and composed in fast-paced environments
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and highly visible security presence at assigned residential properties.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor the surrounding area for unusual or suspicious activity.
• Observe approaching vehicles and individuals while reporting any security concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry attempts.
• Maintain detailed logs and complete accurate incident reports.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.
• Coordinate with GardaWorld Operations, supervisors, emergency responders, and authorized personnel when required.
• Preserve scene integrity during incidents until additional resources arrive.
• Operate assigned company vehicles when required and conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all assignments, residents, visitors, and daily operations.
