About The Position

Surefox North America Inc is a veteran-owned company seeking an experienced Full-time Residential Security Team Lead with high integrity and professionalism. This role involves working on uniquely assigned projects under the guidance of the Program Manager for top Silicon Valley clients. The Residential Security Team Lead will act as a liaison between Surefox and its clients, providing physical security at assigned residences and performing all duties in accordance with client policies, procedures, and state & federal regulations. The position requires exceptional multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while liaising with supporting teams, agencies, or vendors. Flexibility and sound judgment are essential for responding to dynamic situations, with the ability to perform duties nationally and internationally. Requirements

  • Job location is in the Los Angeles, CA
  • Valid California Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Permit without work restriction
  • Valid California Exposed Firearms Permit
  • Valid California Guard Card
  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening
  • Must be able to participate and pass a Physical Assessment Test and a Weapons qualification
  • Must be eligible for employment within the United States
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
  • Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate
  • Must have a current BSIS guard card or eligible to qualify for guard card
  • Must have a high school degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • All applicants must be able to pass the Surefox Physical Agility Test (SPAT), with or without reasonable accommodation, prior to the scheduled start date.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED for all ages is required
  • Possess a valid and current driver license

  • Have an operational understanding of today’s technology across all platforms

  • Surefox RSOTC Course Completion or the willingness and ability to attend and graduate

Responsibilities

  • Enforce Post Orders, SOP's, confidentiality requirements and Use of Force Policies
  • Develop relationships with clients, facilitate collaboration, and have the ability to influence informally across different departments within the team
  • Track and report on program performance assurance and compliance requirements within the provided guidelines
  • Manages the Residential Security team schedule
  • Manage/monitor surveillance equipment and access points
  • Maintain a log of all activity occurring at the residence
  • Screen all incoming mail
  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and/ or vehicle while monitoring access
  • Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on-site
  • Contact the police or fire department if and when there is an emergency
  • Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
  • Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property
  • Prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities
  • Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner
  • Attend project meetings upon request to assess the security implications of proposed changes
  • Work independently and adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy
  • Responsible for client and family safety, as well as safeguarding client assets.
  • Conducts ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments
  • Operates motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of local emergency services, routes, and points of interest within a given area of responsibility
  • Operate in a low profile, low footprint capacity
  • Follow Residential Security Operating Procedures and Guidelines
  • Comply with Surefox Policy and Procedures
  • Respond to emergency events, medical & non-medical issues, incident detection, observation, physical security, overwatch and reconnaissance to assigned clients
  • Address staffing deficiencies
  • Handle client requests in a timely manner
