About The Position

Kahut Waste Services, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a Residential Route CDL-B Driver to join our team in Clackamas & Canby, Oregon. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires the eligible completion of a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), Criminal Background Report, & Drug Panel Screening. The schedule is Monday-Friday, starting at 5:30 AM until the route is completed, typically averaging about 45 hours a week. The starting wage is $36.00/HR.

Requirements

CDL-B Driver
Eligible completion of a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), Criminal Background Report, & Drug Panel Screening.

Responsibilities

Operating multiple types of waste vehicles such as Class-B flat bed delivery truck, glass recycle truck, automated side load truck, on specified routes depending on business needs.
Servicing 900-1,200 stops per day on residential routes.
Reading route tablet and servicing each customer identified on the route tablet or assigned by the dispatcher.
Performing routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
Loading and unloading, at times with no helpers.
Operating hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash/recycle at designated facilities.
Courteous interaction with customers.
Performing other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
