Requirements

  • Strong relationship‑building and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Self‑driven, growth‑oriented, and accountable for generating new business
  • Strategic, business‑savvy mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and follow‑through
  • Tech‑savvy; comfortable using CRM systems and productivity tools

  • 1-3 years B2C or B2B sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program
  • Indoor office environment and outdoor door-to-door sales calling
  • Local travel to engage with clients
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends to meet client availability

Nice To Haves

  • Construction/contracting background preferred, but not required
  • Canvassing sales experience preferred
  • Prior storm restoration industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of roofing systems, applications and benefits preferred
  • Cold calling and acquisition experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with decision-makers through prospecting, outreach, and networking
  • Drive lead generation and maintain an active pipeline of growth opportunities
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business to meet or exceed sales objectives
  • Develop and present customized sales proposals to targeted audiences
  • Partner with Estimators to scope projects and negotiate contract terms
  • Track, update, and report proposal activity and outcomes in the CRM
  • Collaborate with Marketing to support market entry strategies and sales tools
  • Represent JR & Co. professionally at networking and industry events
