About The Position

R & T Yoder HVAC, Inc in Columbus, OH is looking to hire a full-time experienced Residential Remodel HVAC Tech. This role involves removing old HVAC systems, installing new ones, performing routine maintenance, and training junior team members. The technician will also communicate with clients, order and maintain equipment, and run pipe and duct systems through homes. A valid driver's license and good driving record are required.

Requirements

• 4+ years of HVAC field experience
• Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and local codes
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting
• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to explain technical information clearly and in layman's terms
• Service-oriented
• Ability to establish a good rapport with people
• Respectful of others and their personal property
• Punctual and reliable

Responsibilities

• Removing old HVAC systems
• Installing new HVAC systems
• Performing routine maintenance
• Training junior team members

• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
• Understanding refrigeration cycles
• Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temperature
