About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for developing new and existing relationships, meeting with customers, structuring and closing mortgage and consumer loans, and building relationships with local realtors, builders, and other businesses to serve as a source of referrals and new opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years banking experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing new and existing loan relationships.
  • Administers a portfolio of residential loans, determining the credit worthiness of borrowers and monitoring loan performance.
  • Requires knowledge of different types of loans available and then advises the applicants on which loan option would best suit their needs.
  • Work with various loan types, including, but not limited to mortgage, new construction, HELOCs and consumer and ensure all pertinent documentation is received and collateral has been properly secured.
  • Prepare written credit requests and present to Loan Committee.
  • Contact delinquent customers to ensure payment is received.
  • Obtain credit reports and provide information to customers related to their credit history.
  • Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell ancillary products and services.
  • Promotes the Bank’s image in the community by participating in community activities, involve and participate in community service organizations to assist in compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act.
  • Presents a favorable image in the community and establishes new relationships.
  • Develops and maintains an adequate level of knowledge in Mortgage and consumer lending, general banking and business development.
  • Demonstrates personal and interpersonal behavior, attitude, judgment, communication and initiative with customers and employees to ensure an acceptable degree of performance that could generate new business.
