RELIEF STAFF: $20.00 varied shifts, varied locations, Quincy, Braintree, Norwell, Randolph, Weymouth, Brockton residences As a Residential Rehab Educator/Counselor, assist our Residential Clients experiencing chronic behavioral health issues, with activities of daily living. Help them to develop more independence and improve quality of life. In a residential group home setting, RELIEF STAFF fill in as needed for regular staff who are absent, for unfilled positions, vacations, leaves, etc Activities may include: monitoring client activities, grocery shopping, household chores, cooking, personal care, managing finances, client transportation, deescalation of behavioral issues. May administer medication. Transport clients to appointments or events in the community. Engage them in meaningful activities within the home. Encourage positive behaviors. Help clients to meet individual service plan goals set by a team of medical and other professionals. After initial training period working at several different homes and becoming familiarized with different houses and clients, choose available shifts based on your schedule and our current needs. Great opportunity to gain exposure and experience in the mental health field! Position will require mandatory attendance in a number of our ongoing trainings over a 6 month period: INITIAL New Hire Orientation with HR /Mon and Tues 8:30-4 FIRST AID/CPR-9a-3p WORKPLACE SAFETY-9a-4p MAP, 9-5 or 5-8 ( Recertification) Special ACCS team orientation 9-3 VITALS, 10-noon Must pick up at least 1 shift every 30 days in order to remain on our Relief Staff list.
