About The Position

Key Point Health Services is a leading nonprofit agency serving people with behavioral healthcare needs in the Greater Baltimore area. We provide comprehensive community-based services that help people thrive while realizing and choosing their goals. We provide opportunities, support and integration within our community. Among the programs and services, we provide are Outpatient Mental Health Centers, Adult and Child Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs, School-Based Therapy, Community Outreach, and Residential Services. We are currently screening for qualified candidates to join our waitlist for an upcoming Residential Rehab Counselor to join our Glen Burnie Residential team.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a social service and no experience required or year to year experience in lieu of education.
Valid and active Maryland driver's license (or state of residence)(must be active for at least 3 years).
Pass a criminal background check, MVA check, and pre-employment drug screening.
Must have own vehicle.
Someone who has a passion for working with individuals with a mental illness or a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Staff are responsible for the comprehensive services offered through on-site and off-site programs. This includes assessment, case management, psycho education, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison.
Staff are also responsible for the timely and accurate completion of all documentation such as treatment plans and progress notes.
Responsible for medication monitoring and education to support self-dosing of medication.
Responsible for teaching community skills including ADLs as needed.
Must drive 15 passenger vans to transport clients.
