About The Position

Clarity Care is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Residential Registered Nurses in Oshkosh. We are a nonprofit organization committed to supporting individuals with varying abilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives within their communities. Our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality care with respect, integrity, and a deep commitment to the people we serve. As a Caregiver, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of our group homes, focusing on consumer rights, personal care, daily living activities, and regulatory compliance. We offer competitive starting pay up to $18/hr based on experience, with no prior experience or certifications required. We are hiring immediately!

Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma/equivalent and/or related work/life experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid WI driver’s license and meet agency driving standards.
  • Must provide proof of auto insurance.
  • Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Check, including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks and/or checks of previous states of residence.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct care support to members with disabilities by assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene, as outlined by the individual service plan.
  • Comfortably uses mobility devices and practices safe transfer and ambulation techniques.
  • Teaches and guides members in achieving their hopes, dreams, goals, and objectives through self-direction, decision-making, and goal-setting.
  • Completes all applicable documentation related to assigned tasks.
  • Maintains a safe, sanitary, and welcoming group home environment by performing housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, making beds, and changing linens.
  • Performs laundry duties.
  • Prepares and serves meals according to general nutritional guidelines, menus, individual dietary restrictions, needs, and preferences to ensure consumer health.
  • Assists, escorts, and provides physical and other types of assistance needed by members during social and recreational activities.
