About The Position

Waste Connections is hiring a Residential Rear Load Garbage Truck Driver to operate a garbage truck on a specified route in New Port Richey. The driver is responsible for serving customers safely, efficiently, and courteously. This is a full-time, year-round position involving regular heavy lifting and climbing in and out of the truck. The posting gives a typical weekday schedule of 3:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and also describes a typical schedule of Monday through Saturday, approximately 50–55 hours per week.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• At least 2 years of work experience and a stable work history; driver experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to work outside in all weather conditions.
