The Qualified Disabilities Professional (QDP) is responsible for ensuring the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of person-centered services for individuals receiving residential and Medicaid Waiver services. The QDP promotes high-quality, individualized supports by ensuring compliance with Indiana Bureau of Disabilities Services (BDS) regulations, 460 IAC, CMS Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Final Rule requirements, and agency policies. The QDP serves as the clinical and regulatory resource for assigned programs by facilitating person-centered planning, monitoring service implementation, coordinating interdisciplinary services, identifying compliance concerns, and supporting continuous quality improvement. The QDP collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary teams to ensure services promote independence, health, safety, community integration, and meaningful outcomes for every individual supported.
