Residential Project Architect (Kalispell)

A&E + SMA Design is seeking a passionate Residential Project Architect to join their multi-disciplinary team. Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Architecture
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Emphasis or specialty in high-end residential design
- Proficiency in Revit is required
- Strong proficiency in other 3D rendering tools, SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate within a creative team environment
- Passion for design and architecture, possessing energy, talent, and an appreciation for timeless beauty and effortless function
- Work effectively within a collaborative team environment and multi-disciplinary design teams
- Complex problem-solving and critical thinking abilities are essential
- Must be located in Kalispell, Missoula, or Bozeman
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, or possess a work visa to legally work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Architectural licensure preferred, but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of high-end residential projects, from concept sketches to construction.
- Translate client vision into innovative, functional, and beautiful design solutions.
- Oversee communication and coordination with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Research and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Manage and produce presentation materials for client and agency meetings.
- Document and distribute meeting minutes while tracking project budgets, schedules, and workflow.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that milestones are achieved on time and within scope.
- Attend job site meetings, issue supplemental instructions, and respond to RFI's during the Construction Administration phase.
- Use Revit and rendering tools to produce accurate and compelling drawings and visuals.
