About The Position
Arc Human Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) – Mental Health to join our team! The Direct Support Professional (DSP) ensures the health and safety of program participants by providing varying levels of personal care within a community home setting. This includes cooking, cleaning, transportation, community engagement, dispensing medications, supporting goals, and accurate documentation of care. This position is responsible for assisting in the development of independent living skills, behavior strategies, and self-advocacy, preparing participants to become more independent in their homes and communities.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid PA Driver’s License
- Ability to pass background checks, physical, and TB test
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds

- Experience helpful, but not necessary- Complete PAID training provided
