This is a full-time salaried position for a Qualified Professional responsible for developing and coordinating Plans of Care for individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities living in the residential home program. Must have a working knowledge of the principles of behavior management and behavioral techniques. Must also be willing to work cooperatively with community partners as well as staff from other InReach departments, respond to all needs and requests positively and professionally, and be available to provide/share on-call service for emergencies.

Requirements

  • Qualified Professional status
  • Bachelors degree in human services field plus 2 years of full-time, accumulated experience with special needs population OR Bachelors degree in non-human services field and 4 years of full-time, supervised habilitative experience with special needs population OR Masters degree in human services field and 1 year of full-time, supervised habilitative experience with special needs population
  • 2 years of supervisor experience
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle 24 hours a day.
  • Maintained safe driving record
  • Must be able to travel to any group home at any time of the day or night.
  • Must be available to share on-call responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Successfully pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising all residential home staff in the implementation of support to individuals served.
  • Monitoring, managing, and facilitating operations on a day-to-day basis.
  • Responsible for completing all documentation on time.
  • Implementation and review of customers' Plan of Care.
  • Submit authorizations to LME and make corrections to POC as needed.
  • Plan and oversee work schedule and approve payroll hours.
  • Provide one-on-one supervision as needed.
  • Fill in for residential home vacancies if needed.
  • Share on-call service for emergencies.
  • Travel to the residential home in Charlotte regularly.
