About The Position

RFK Community Alliance is seeking a dynamic and experienced Residential Program Coordinator to provide programmatic oversight for a 12-bed, co-educational, short-term emergency residence funded by the Department of Children and Families. This role involves overseeing the residential milieu, providing leadership to staff and students, and ensuring adherence to policy and procedure, quality of services, ARC treatment philosophy, and behavioral support and management. The coordinator will also be involved in training new staff.

Requirements

Minimum of two years of residential experience and one year of supervisory experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Program Director to create, implement, and adhere to a robust and purposeful daily milieu schedule.
Ensure that the physical environment is safe, clean, and maintained in a homelike manner.
Complete all paperwork in a timely and professional manner, including QTC reports, service notes, meal counts, and incident report signoffs.
Attend meetings and training, including team meetings, quarterly treatment conferences, staff meetings, Professional Development Training, and many more upon request.
Be responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and maintaining accurate record-keeping systems, as well as updating kid-specific issues and relaying any responses or plans put into place by the team.
Provide direct supervision to the Program Supervisor and counselors with the goal of promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Assist clinicians in running psychoeducation groups as needed.
Initiate daily shift meetings with staff and community meetings in the milieu.
Assist the Program Director in completing performance evaluations and candidate interviews.
Have specific training in the areas of medication administration and emergency physical plant procedures, including fire alarm systems, generators, snow emergencies, heating and physical plant problems, evacuation procedures, vehicle safety, and high-risk behaviors, including assigning risk statuses.
Participate in the program on-call rotation.
Be responsible for program financial expenses, including credit card use, petty cash, and budget.
Participate in performance quality improvement efforts that include, but are not limited to, the timely and accurate completion of identified workflows and documentation measures outlined in the agency PQI plan and divisional goal plans.
