About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Day Porter to maintain the property's cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance. This role is essential for ensuring our guests and residents experience a well-maintained and welcoming living environment every day.
Requirements
- Previous porter, janitorial, housekeeper or maintenance experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean spaces
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and follow directions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including lobby, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and amenity spaces
- Remove trash and recycling from designated areas
- Clean exterior entrances, walkways, and surrounding grounds
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damages promptly
- Support the maintenance team with light duties
- Assist with deliveries and moving items when required
- Provide courteous and professional interactions with guests, residents and staff
