About The Position

Temp Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for Residential Painting Laborers to join our client's team for the spring and summer seasons! As a Residential Painting Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting painting projects by assisting with various tasks to ensure timely completion and quality results. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the painting industry and develop valuable skills while working in a dynamic team environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in painting or construction-related work is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of painting tools, equipment, and materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and masking as directed by the painting crew leader.
Move furniture, fixtures, and other items to clear work areas and protect them from paint splatter or damage.
Set up and maintain painting equipment, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and ladders.
Mix paint and other materials according to specifications and assist with the setup and cleanup of work areas.
Apply paint, stains, and other finishes under the supervision of experienced painters, ensuring even coverage and smooth finishes.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines
Assist with minor repairs and touch-ups as needed
Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure they are in good condition and ready for use.
Communicate effectively with team members
Uphold company standards for professionalism, workmanship, and customer service at all times.
